We had lots of fun playing pass the parcel this afternoon. We also enjoyed having a sing and a dance!
In whole class reading we explored some new vocabulary we found in our book and identified the meanings.
During maths we went outside and practiced turning clockwise and anticlockwise
Year 2 had a fantastic day today! We all enjoyed meeting the animals and were brave enough to touch and hold them!

🇮🇹 Geography day 🇮🇹 Our country was Italy and we had lots of fun researching it, discovering lots of interesting facts and even learning some Italian.
*Polite reminder* Reading is part of your child's homework. We expect children to be reading at least 3x a week. Also, Mrs Jackson is getting competitive now and wants to be the top reading score!
In whole class reading we started to look at our new text 'Little Red'. We started by working in a team to predict what will happen in the beginning, middle and end of the story.
