George the tortoise 🐢 was very friendly! Some of us even held the snake! 🐍
Year 2 had so much fun meeting all the animals… they were extremely brave and handled all the animals with care!
To finish off our geography unit on weather and climate… we made rain gauges. We used our mathematical skills to carefully mark out the centimetre marks so that we can measure the rainfall in our local area.

We discovered that fruits have seeds but vegetables don't! But what happens to seeds when we plant them...? 🤔
We kicked off Science week today by dissecting fruit to find out where seeds come from! We discovered seeds come in all shapes and sizes!
