I graduated from @GeorgetownLaw yesterday! As a teen dad working in fast food I never could have imagined this day would come.

For far too long, our nation has encouraged one path to success: a four-year college degree. As president, I will get rid of the unnecessary degree requirement for federal jobs.

So happy that my bar certificate arrived. Ten years ago I found out I was going to be a teen dad and was working in fast food. Eight years ago I was working as an EMT and putting myself through community college. Today I’m a lawyer and my daughter is nine. Life is beautiful.

I finally have my diplomas framed. It’s amazing to sit here as the first to attend college in my family, a man who became a dad at 18, the son of an immigrant, and someone who grew up in Section-8 housing and on Food Stamps and free school breakfast and lunch with these degrees.

Happy Pride Month! This month and every month, the Biden-Harris Administration stands proudly with the LGBTQI+ community in the enduring fight for freedom, justice, and equality.

I’m in complete disbelief that I, the kid who had to do summer school several times growing up, the boy who became a young dad, the young man who attended community college while working on the ambulance graduated from Georgetown Law. Next step, the bar exam (wish me luck lol).

State Sen. Nathan Dahm (R-OK) has penned several bills loosening gun restrictions, including the nation’s first anti-red flag law. He thinks these bills protect the Second Amendment – and that they make us safer. We think it's probably one or the other. Watch it on @AppleTVPlus

One year ago, the world was bracing for the fall of Kyiv. I was in Kyiv this week, and I can report: Kyiv stands strong. Kyiv stands proud. And most importantly, it stands free.

#OTD 160 years ago, freed people on the Sea Islands, as in other US-occupied regions in the South, eagerly waited for January 1, Emancipation Day. At midnight Penn School founder Laura Towne noted, “New Years Morning - Not a legally held slave upon our soil. Glory, Hallelujah!”
