Oct 8th @LVMPD hosted 6 National Night Out events. D/NV USMS, @FBI, @NVStatePolice, @CityOfLasVegas and several other agency’s showed up to strengthen relationships and promote safer, more unified communities. D/NV @DTSummerlin was a free event that is hosted every year.

D/Nevada’s Violent Offender Task Force 10 days of Operation Washout ended w/38 arrests and 1 missing child recovered. Crimes such as aggravated assault, child neglect, assault of child, among others. From preparation to the arrests in 120° heat, nothing is easy about this job.

D/NV ran the 24th Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Run honoring 157 Officers who have lost their lives in Nevada. Southern portion of the run began with a ceremony @ Police Memorial Park and ended in Tonopah. With dark skies & head winds reaching 35MPH, these ladies ran w/heart!🥰

#USMS D/Nevada honor the life of @NLVPD Officer Elizondo at Raul P. Elizondo Elementary School's annual event. Officer Elizondo died in the line of duty, 1995. Supervisors and K9 handler spoke with kids about careers and answered questions about law enforcement.

#USMS D/Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested Markell Boyd, 44, wanted out of @USMSCleveland Wanted since 2019 for Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substance. Boyd was located by the task force on the Las Vegas Strip selling CDs.

#USMS Nevada Violent Offender Task Force arrested Shawn Landry, 25, wanted out of E/LA. New Orleans Task Force requested assistance from Nevada. Landry was apprehended following a short barricade. @LVMPD assisted with the arrest.
