Great to be at @UofGCILS yesterday to discuss international law as a profession. We look forward to our next opportunity to build even deeper relationships with the international law community in Scotland.

It was great to welcome Emma Hutchison from @FCDOGovUK back to her alma mater tonight as part of our @UofGCILS International Law as a Profession series. Thanks to Emma and to everyone who came alone and asked interesting questions.

The resolutions passed at #RCRC24 will progress global commitments to international humanitarian law and support locally-led and preventative action to save lives. Alongside our partners the UK is taking action to alleviate the suffering of people trapped in crisis and conflict.

At #RCRC24 in Geneva we are making clear that international humanitarian law must be respected. Hear more from FCDO Legal Adviser @SLangrishFCDO ⬇️

UK Government continues to collaborate with the @BritishRedCross to provide practical assistance to selected States who wish to produce their own voluntary reports on IHL implementation at the domestic level. gov.uk/government/pub…

The UK is delighted to be in Geneva to support #RCRC24. International humanitarian law is the essential body of rules which regulates armed conflict, protects civilians & people who are not, or are no longer, participating in hostilities, and limits the methods & means of warfare
