Happy last days of school! Reminder: Students should NOT bring large backpacks to school on exam days. Only should bring what they NEED for their exams. If students bring large bags, they will be collected and stored in the office or cafeteria until the end of the day.

TOMORROW IS THE BEST OLYMPICS EVER!!! Prepare ourselves for musical performances, the Phoenix Color Run, and popsicles! During lunch and the Fun Run, SAB will be selling popsicles for $0.50. It’ll be great to have a sweet treat and support SAB’s budget for Olympics!

THE BEST OLYMPICS EVER IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER! This Friday until Thursday, Olympics day, will be Spirit Days. Reminder that participation brings your house closer to winning the Spirit Stick, also outfits must be dress-code appropriate.

This Friday is THE LAST DOUBLE POINTS DAY! School supplies are the items to bring and they must be new or gently used. Fundraiser also ends on Friday, House that wins will move up an Olympic ranking!

Congratulations to Grace Falkiewicz, who came in 1st place in Girl’s Pole Vaulting at the MAC White Championships in Fraser this week! That’s absolutely incredible, make sure to congratulate her when you see her!

Next Tuesday, Powderpuff will be meeting in the lecture hall! It’s an informational meeting, come if you’re interested! Powderpuff has created inter grade relationships and encourages teamwork. We need a strong team for next year to continue our winning streak against IAM!

UAIS freshman, Megan Mangalathet, stood out among students in Macomb County for the Student Government Essay Contest. Megan wrote about why school violence is on the rise and how it can be prevented. Congratulations to Megan for winning an $1000 scholarship!

Tejaswi Krishnan, UAIS senior, has earned a $2,500 scholarship through the National Merit Corporation. Tejaswi is among only 2,500 students nationally and less than 90 graduates statewide to be named National Merit scholarship winners. Congratulations Tejaswi!
