More good news: @SherrodBrown and @RepRubenGallego introduce the Excess Urban Heat Mitigation Act, which includes nature-based solutions to lower temperatures. Extreme heat events are on the rise, and urban areas need this relief. This bill invests where it's most needed.
I applaud Rep. @NikemaWilliams for leading the charge on the WISE Act! It will ensure more communities have access to nature-based solutions to address water issues. As a result, communities will experience less flooding, cleaner drinking water, and healthier recreation.
