Seamus Casey barely played in the 2nd period if at all and not one mention by ESPN as to what happened to him. You’d think someone would notice Michigan is missing their best defenseman.
Interesting that when I reach out to the so-called experts on Gopher hockey that I can’t get an answer on Luke Mittelstadt ‘s injury status. They generally do a great job but how about a response to a question.
As good as the Gophers have been offensively, defensively they’ve been terrific as well by taking away shooting and passing lanes, blocking shots, having good sticks and Close has made big saves when they need it.
Maybe when Seattle joins the league we should only let teams protect 4 players so they can be better than Vegas
