In adverse weather conditions, it's important to remember: "You MUST NOT use front or rear fog lights unless visibility is seriously reduced as they dazzle other road users and can obscure your brake lights. You MUST switch them off when visibility improves. Read rule 236
Drivers using a hands-free or handheld mobile phone are slower at recognising and reacting to hazards. Remember: you can get 6 penalty points and a £200 fine if you use a handheld phone when you’re driving. You’ll also lose your licence .
