Just to remind everyone: post-Grenfell, Boris Johnson ruled that anyone jumping out of a burning tower block window is not a fire casualty but a suicide.

See link. It's actually worse here since the UK's strict furniture flammability regulations (that don't even work!) mean we have highest levels of these chemicals in our home. Also, recent studies show that PFAS chemicals restrict the efficacy of vaccines. theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Well, done Liz. The government's blocking of blood tests on Grenfell's survivors is a huge scandal, all to cover up the extent of the toxicity of the fire.

Report published today shows that firefighters are diagnosed with cancer at 4 times normal rates because fires are so toxic. This also totally proves the Grenfell fire was toxic, despite the gov. insisting it wasn't: fbu.org.uk/news/2020/11/2…

Cautionary thought re compulsory vaccinations: Matthew Hancock played a major role in blocking changes to the Furniture Regulations to allow the chemical industry to continue making millions at the expense of public safety. Would he really act differently re Big Pharma profits?

Note too that this video is courtesy of the Wales Fire and Rescue Service, not the flame retardant industry. Odd that they'd find a different result; or maybe not.

which clearly demonstrate our UK regs are useless. Here's one: youtube.com/watch?v=ezJ6So… The mattress here complies with the UK regs, i.e. is supposed to prevent/delay flame spread. But see just how quickly the fire spread. And it's far more toxic because of flame retardants

I've been in discussion with Prof. Guillermo Rein who believes that a tatty bit of research funded by the flame retardant industry (as is his own lab) proves the UK Furniture Regulations work. On YouTube there are many videos of room burn (continued)

Nice evasive question. But yes, I've read it. Have you read my Tweets about the strong connections, including funding, between fire safety institutions and the chemical industry which makes huge profits from fire prevention?

EAC report on toxic chemicals in everyday life published today. I'm very grateful that it has endorsed much of my work over the past 5 years or so. It's very hard on BEIS and details some of the corruption I highlighted: publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201719/cm… #Grenfell

For anyone interested in why Professor David Purser - writing the toxicology report for the Grenfell Inquiry - should be questioned over potential conflicts of interest with his support for the flame retardant industry: mediafire.com/file/9i0bpl9hp…

Good summary in the latest Private Eye about the scandal over UK upholstered furniture and the tonnes of toxic flame retardants that are in it for no reason other than to make big profits for the chemical industry: private-eye.co.uk/issue-1497/in-…
