Allow me to retort … Interesting you want to blame me for a narrative white folks created well before affirmative action existed — that Black people aren’t equipped and smart enough to succeed. All we’ve ever done is make more with less and work harder because we know white…
Today 147 years ago the Lakota’s and Northern Cheyenne wiped out Custer and the 7th Calvary at the battle of the Little Big Horn while they were illegally invading our homelands. That day we captured the American flag in battle and have never returned it to this day. #LandBack
My tears fell at screening. Grateful to be part of this powerful crosssection of life as Black women DrsNtraining. Honored/humbled to share the experience & unfolding saga with the pioneering Sisters in front of & behind the camera #BlackTwitter #Blackmagic #MedTwitter

It's mind bending to me that in 2023 we're still on Square 1: Recruitment. Don't get me wrong, diverse recruitment is what got me thru the door: mprnews.org/story/2019/08/… But once behind said door, I fell through the gaping holes in retention, equity, inclusion, justice, support.

Feeling bummed earlier this morn and stepped outside to breathe in the ambience. The song '3 little birds' comes to mind... altho it's played out, there's rly something profound about letting myself be comforted by the presence of birdsong. Just nature doing business as usual.

I've put together a (by no means comprehensive) reference list introduction to psychedelic therapies & research. Hope it's useful :) lnkd.in/gwEku8UB
I was advised to find a career role model that I want to be like and model my academic/professional path after theirs. I never found that person so I believed that my own dreams were impossible, silly. Now, I'd ask: If I follow a paved path, how will I ever tread new ground?
