“Blaming the outcome of this election on the Hispanic electorate is simply not supported by the electoral math in the Blue Wall states. To say otherwise is not only irresponsible, it is bad political analysis,” say Equis’s co-founders @stephanievalenc and @carlosodio

If your ONLY takeaway from the real and devastating fact that there was an increase in Latinos voting for Trump this cycle is “racism” and “proximity to whiteness,” there’s this thing called critical thinking that I highly recommend. Try it - you’ll like it!

Most Latinos voted against him. And they’re going to face some of the worst consequences anyway if this goes south. If anyone wants to actually understand the few who shifted, we can have that convo. But there are better, more constructive & more honest places to point blame.

I don’t think it’s helpful to wish people ill. Latinos wanted this man. I hope that works out for them. White women had a chance to restore abortion rights. They declined. I hope that works out for them. People get the country they deserve.

YES!!!!

Congratulations to @ahujie and her whole team/coalition for winning this Prop 1 battle and enshrining protections for all New Yorkers!! You did it despite the odds!! 🙌🏽🍾

Latinos - take note!

When Republicans call people garbage, suckers and losers, or say certain people shouldn’t have an equal right to vote because they don’t have kids - know that they aren’t talking about “other people.” They are talking about you. They are talking about ALL of us.

Trump rally speaker: “There’s literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean right now. I think it’s called Puerto Rico”

To Puerto Ricans who for some unknown reason are “on the fence,” THIS is what they think of us. 😡
