One of my more persistent conservative correspondents is in my inbox insisting the Globe and Mail always endorses Justin Trudeau and the Liberals. I'm pointing out it's *never* done that, and even endorsed the CPC in 2015. I attached the piece from that election. Her response:

Hypocrisy rules
One of the problems with low levels of scientific literacy is it promotes simple solutions to complex problems. Take for instance the often repeated claim that CO2 is plant food so more CO2 is a good thing.
Today Smith was asked why she failed to deliver on eliminating surgical wait times in the timeframe she promised. Her response? “We have to maintain that aspiration” Fun fact… In medicine, “aspiration” means inhaling your own vomit. Dunno what made us think of that #abpoli
The UCP seems to forget that we’re Canadians as well as Albertans. Blocking federal funding is childish. Jason, you are the red tape. You’re the roadblock. We need housing. They want to spend money on housing for us. Work with them. That’s your job, not this theatre.
We don't need federal bribe money, especially when the strings attached will build less homes. We're committed to progress, not to adding more red tape and roadblocks.
