🙏Thank you, UK 🇬🇧 Your continued support makes a real difference in the lives of #Rohingya refugees, with - among others - crucial access to food security 🍚 water & sanitation 🚾 and support after natural disasters for refugees and the communities hosting them.

New UK aid has been announced for the Rohingya people, host communities and those affected by recent natural disasters in Bangladesh. UK support for democratic recovery, economic reforms, security, and trade cooperation is also on the agenda as @CatherineWest1 visits Dhaka ⬇️

I was inspired to see young men & women refugees use skills learned in the camps to repair electronic items🪛 a livelihood initiative promoting green thinking + environmental conservation. Empowering refugees through green innovation = key to a better future for all 🌱 #COP29

From sports 🏀 to social gatherings 🎉, community centers are central to nurturing a sense of community in Rohingya refugee camps. In this photo, a father welcomes guests ahead of his daughter’s wedding 💍 at the center. So nice to see these spaces used for special occasions.
