Bustling operation today but we are clearing the warehouse full of goods and getting it out to impacted communities. Great to see this big operation so well organized! Much love to our comrades in @SnackBloc @WillametteAC @TheWitchesPDX @pdxrisingtide @DontShootPdx
Can't help but think that we could solve two problems at once if the Portland Fire & Rescue budget was swapped the PPB's budget. Instead, the cops have over $100,000,000 more to spend beating protestors, while F&D actually had their budget cut in the previous year.
"This is the Portland Police Bureau. This wildfire has been declared an unlawful assembly. Leave now or..."
The City of Portland has offered police and fire resources to the Governor to help the state respond to the devastating fires.
📢🔥📢🔥Call to action! 📢🔥📢🔥We are immediately accepting emergency donations for folks impacted by the fires. Current prioritization is supporting the Klamath Tribes, refugees fleeing fire, migrant farm workers and houseless in portland. See thread for drop off spots.👇👇
Wow, and it only took 105 days and multiple lawsuits!

Nice of Portland to have a sepia-toned sky because apparently, we're living in a wild west film.
Mt. Hood could've at least declared an unlawful assembly before gassing us. Stay safe, y'all.
I can't think of anything more ironic than a bunch of fascists using their Labor Day vacation to support law enforcement suppressing protestors. Maybe next year spend your 3-day weekend reading a book.
Weird how there's never any emphasis on the history of Black labor. It's almost like they don't want you to know you have the power to achieve change through solidarity. 🤔
Labor Day teaches us that protesting, striking, and rioting work. We were not handed the 40-hour workweek, child labor laws, or worker safety policies by benevolent employers. Workers fought for them.
Police unions are not labor unions. Policing is inherently conservative and antithetical to the labor movement.
Protest safety! One things that keeps coming up is PPB keeping folks personal belongings. That means folks often get out without keys, wallet and phone. Over a long weekend the property room won't be open until Tuesday. Folks are locked out of their cars and homes. 1/
What is brunch going to look like tomorrow?
Apparently, there's a new right-wing conspiracy that the houseless camps in Portland were put there by "paid Antifa agitators." No, that's capitalism that you're thinking of.
