I told a patient to think of his favorite things since ketamine could make him have weird dreams. Patient points at his wife and says, “my favorite thing’s sitting in that chair over there.” #TwitterRx

What’s the general consensus on diltiazem for AF RVR with HFrEF in the ED? Obviously the guidelines say don’t, but it seems like its a gray area since there’s so little literature and none of it is consistent one way or the other😩

*Me walking down the hallway RN with a look of panic: Why are you coming down here? What’s happening? Me: I’m just stretching my legs… RN: Oh thank God. You coming to a room usually means something bad is about to happen😅 😂I guess she’s not wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️ #TwitterRx #EMpharm

ED, CC, and #TwitterRx how are you programing crofab/anavip in pumps? If you have a build in the pump library that allows slow infusion the first 10 min then increases, how did you do it?

First first author publication ✅️ Thanks @GilbertPharmD for the support and encouragement throughout this process!

I got asked, “do you ever think about going to medical school and being a doctor?” My response of, “well do you ever think about going to pharmacy school and being a doctor?” was not the expected response. Don’t be that person. We are PharmDs because we WANT to be🤦🏻‍♀️ #TwitterRx

Me: I wish I had the power to change things and make things better! Also me when I get stuck in a 4 hour meeting about said changes:

That’s a first for me🫣 #TwitterRx

I’m giving a presentation on SVTs so of course I have multiple slides dedicated to the great debate of #CCBvsAdenosine. Fingers crossed the audience is #teamCCB 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Otherwise things may get awkward… #TwitterRx

Friendly reminder that LAST, while rare, is a real thing and not just a scary story pharmacists like to tell around camp fires. 👏🏻there’s👏🏻a👏🏻max👏🏻dose👏🏻for👏🏻a👏🏻reason👏🏻

I think I should start a series on the out of pocket things these ED docs ask me. Today’s question: How many mg of methadone = 3 g of heroin? #TwitterRx

Pretty sure this is what everyone in my central pharmacy sees when I come to rummage in the trash for expired crash cart meds to use for teaching sims… #TwitterRx

Nothing will make you feel more appreciated than an ED that hasn’t had a pharmacist in a few days😂 #TwitterRx

Tell me your ED doesn’t have a pharmacist today without telling me they don’t have one🤦🏻‍♀️ I guess that’s good job security😂 #TwitterRx

The FOMO of watching the @EMPRx24 virtually is REAL😫

One of my favorite parts of my job is showing the med res/students how to administer certain meds. Today they learned the magic of ✨properly administered✨ adenosine #TwitterRx #adenosine

Hubs: I don’t think that’s what they meant when they asked for books for the nursery… Me: Well antimicrobial stewardship is everybody’s job and it’s never too early to start learning🤷🏻‍♀️ My nephew will be informed and well educated Hubs: Ummm okay… 😂 #TwitterRx #antibiotics
