The great fortress burns, betrayed. Our Queen is missing and the bodies of our heroes litter the streets. This monk writes in haste as he makes his retreat. We write now a new, perhaps final chapter. The Third Safeway War has come to Fortress Field. Overfox have mercy on us all.
This humble monk would like to assure our small but dedicated readership that more histories will soon be added to this chronicle. Unfortunately my two brothers have become consumed by the unpious activity of watching humans perform strange athletic feats over the past few days.

The West Forest woodpeckers in the Avian Expanse have provided lumber to many of the Five Lands for almost 50 years.
I heard pecking in the Aspen woods ahead and moved in the general direction of the sound. I didn't see anything until this Hairy Woodpecker peeked around the tree, no doubt wondering who was in his territory. After I got this shot, he returned to his task. #naturephotography
