The number of claims targeting women increased to 7% in November, from 5% in October. (6/8)
The role of mainstream media in amplifying misinformation saw a slight uptick, going up from 2% in October to 3% in November. (5/8)
With increase in political activity owing to assembly elections in 5 states, there was a corresponding increase in communal claims. While only 3% of total claims debunked in October were communal in nature, the figure went up to 8% in November. (4/8)
The share of verified pages in sharing misinformation remained almost constant, at 23% in November, compared to 24% in October. (3/8)
