Today at school the students have been jewellery making, learning Indian games and playing sport. We also did a Google meet with RGS Y11. After school buffalo milking and a tuk tuk ride back to the hotel.We will not want to come home!
On Wednesday we had a much deserved day off teaching and took ourselves off to a beach and palace. Mandvi beach is idyllic, we had a delicious lunch and the beach to ourselves.
Day 2 at the Hope Foundation School today and the students got stuck right in to teaching. Football, painting, badminton, dancing, Maths, Hindi lesson, paper craft and reading. We even found time to Skype year 8 assembly at RGS. Tuktuks to the temple was also a highlight.
We’re here in Bhuj after two planes and a bus journey. We are exhausted, well fed and ready for an exciting day at Hope Foundation school tomorrow.
boy oh boy you just wait until the evening of 21st of June when we will be quietly reading books at home
Thank you to Team India 2020 for a fantastic trip. We are incredibly proud of our students and the work they did at the school as well as their travelling spirit. They are amazing ambassadors for RGS. Hope you are all fully rested and have lifelong memories to cherish.

Evening stopover in Delhi and our last leg. Flight to LHR AI161 is currently on time to depart at 02.30 and arrive at 06.30. ETA at school is 10am. Will post as we are at gate.
After a very early start we are in Mumbai airport having lunch. Our flight to Delhi is on time at the moment 🤞 and we will update you from there, WiFi permitting.
Last day was a good one. A day relaxing on Mandhvi beach with a great lunch, then Thali at the hotel. We are all packed and rooms inspected for a 5.30 am start. We will keep you posted throughout the journey and fingers crossed for a smoother return.
