Poll time... How many of you have used @gadugadu will Pidgin? We're trying to get an idea on interest and whether or not we should keep support for it in Pidgin 3.

Hey folks, this is a much belated, just in time for 3.6.2 😅c/o of @qulogic, check out our new shiny in 3.6 🧵! github.com/matplotlib/mat… We're particularly psyched for extended character support, 3D improvements, better bar plot labeling, striped lines, and compressed layout!🥳

3.6 is out c/o our release manager @QuLogic and all other sorts of awesome folks! 🥳 Longer thread on all the cool things in a few days, but for now check out the highlight real at github.com/matplotlib/mat…

While I don't love how it works, managed to get the Transparency plugin working again in @impidgin 3 against @GTKtoolkit 4.

Last week, @impidgin made it to @GTKtoolkit 4. Now it's time to refresh the preference pages (some parts still a bit WIP.)

After 207 days, 139 review (pull) requests over 3 repositories. Pidgin 3 (still in development) is officially a @GTKtoolkit 4 application! Congratulations to the team and everyone involved on this huge milestone!

After a ton of work most of it from @QuLogic we have the Pidgin 3 development tree running in GTK4!! There's still a ton of work to do to yet, but after 6+ months of work, it compiles and runs!!

With lots and lots of `# if 0`, I have a compiling-and-running @impidgin on GTK 4. Much is broken though (like several menus). Let's see if we can get this committed in @rw_grim's stream tomorrow.

We have a bugfix release thanks to @QuLogic! 🥳 We fixed some alignment and color and interactivity and units and nans and builds and oh no it's crashing 😖 bugs! github.com/matplotlib/mat…

Oh, @Bell Mobility has an option to block data access. BUT, it can only be applied to lines that already have a data plan. So if you accidentally leave data on, you'll only find out that you were charged Pay-per-use rates ($130/GB!) when you get your bill or the $50 CRTC warning.

Because of #SciPy2022 sprints, I started on github.com/matplotlib/mat… (blitting in Slider widgets) And then on the flight back, I also managed to put in: github.com/matplotlib/mat… (blitting in all *Button widgets)
