If you're wondering whether you should be out on the streets right now – yeah, you should. Wondering means yes. If you're not wondering, take a deep look in that mirror, hoss.
The same is true of research on a feature film. Are you and your co-writer (or you, as a director, and your producer) fascinated by the mysteries of Hexham, the most haunted place in Britain? Great. Let's record a podcast of discovery while you research the backstory.
Secondly, we believe in PODCASTS as a creative output as well as creative tool. To take an example: say that you're researching a documentary on state corruption. This will require a LOT of research. So, if appropriate, let's make a podcast of it *while* doing the research.
A little about our thinking. First up: one of the things we're here to do is to facilitate DOCUMENTARY MAKING. We love docs. We have equipment, contacts and will get shooting started. Documentaries should all hit the ground running and discover the story as you go.
