What a great game to get children (and adults) active. Have a well-deserved brain break from that screen and download ‘Home Court’ a free app. High score 616 can you beat me? #edutwitter #CompetitionTime

Last night I decided to remind my class how much I valued the work they were sending in so printed some out to make a display board to share with them. It had a really positive impact and showed the children how much I care about what they are doing.

I might still have 7 trays of sand in my room and no idea where I’m going to get rid of it all but this was a cracker of a day. The class were so engaged as they explored the @SDGoals with @JurassicWorld Couldn’t recommend this enough - £20ish all in and an hour to setup 🦖

As a Key Worker but with a husband who works at home, I feel perfectly within my rights that my son attends my school 4 days a week. If he was at home he’d be driving my husband mad. He works so much better at school. Mind you, he is 22 and he’s teaching PE 😂🤣😂

Words do indeed matter. The words we use as leaders have meaning and power, as the events of tonight have shown. We will choose our words carefully and wisely.

What I’ve learnt about schools this year is that by the end of today everything will be sorted, routines and systems will be in place and they’ll be cracking on with the job. Schools, headteachers, school staff. You continue to be amazing. You’ve let nobody down.

Theee years ago today my dad asked my mom for chapstick and she handed him lipstick. He didn’t know for about 20 mins and was so touched that I suddenly wanted so many father/daughter pictures.

Working in schools is really bloody hard at the moment. But. I’m paid in full and have a job. There are worse situations to be in.
