I am the luckiest to work with @AmistadLaw Over 200,000 people are sentenced to die in U.S. prisons. Amistad is intervening to end Life Without Parole and building alternatives to our systems of perpetual punishment. I hope you’ll consider supporting us this #GivingTuesday!

It’s easy to criticize our criminal legal system. It’s a lot harder to build alternatives that expand our imagination for what’s possible in the realm of public safety. TOMORROW is Giving Tuesday! We hope you'll support these life-saving interventions: amistadlaw.org/donate-support…

You are about to see in real time over the next 4 days how the media can choose who it humanizes and who it villainizes, who is a child and who is a minor, who is a mother and who is an accomplice. Who is a hostage and who is a prisoner. In short who is innocent and who is not.

Wow... 'There was some concern in the administration about an unintended consequence of the pause: that it would allow journalists broader access to #Gaza and the opportunity to further illuminate the devastation there and turn public opinion on Israel.' politico.com/news/2023/11/2…

“It is much easier to consider genocide in the past tense rather than contend with it in the present. Legal scholars tend to sharpen their pens after the smell of death has dissipated and moral clarity is no longer urgent.”

The Harvard Law Review refused to run this piece about genocide in Gaza. The piece was nearing publication when the journal decided against publishing it. You can read the article here: bit.ly/47ENL1W

As Columbia suspends @jvplive, it’s clear the crackdown is not about combatting anti-semitism—it’s about protecting zionism.

NEWS: Columbia University is suspending Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) as official student groups through the end of the fall term. news.columbia.edu/news/statement…

“This building is not listening,” said one Democratic aide. “I’ve never seen such a disconnect between where voters and constituents are and where Congress is.” 80% of Dem voters support a ceasefire. 18 out of 535 members of Congress have called for one. huffpost.com/entry/calls-fo…

They are going to blame us when Biden loses the election but we know the blame lies with him alone.

Biden was just asked "what are the prospects of a Gaza ceasefire?" His reply: "None. No possibility." The United States is actively instigating Israel's genocide in Gaza, and working to inflame a wider war in the Middle East.

Biden admin officials admitting that the pressure on them to call for a ceasefire is becoming undeniable. All the calling, emailing, and protesting is working.
