We are proud to announce another three learners to our growing reading ambassador group at school this week. Khalla A, Mawa S and Aisha B have all been selected as this school role and we look forward to seeing what they bring to reading going forward. Well done girls :D

September was all about new adventures, with a competition given to our KS3 learners to follow a book trail to learn about a famous fictional adventurer. Taha M and Kiki O (both year 8) completed the hunt and in doing so was able to explore new book worlds. Well done both :D

This week, we were please to reward those year 7 students who completed their summer read challenge. Tasked with reading 6 books before they started Secondary school, these students in Year 7 shown a commitment to their learning and were rewarded as such. Well done all!

Today we were contacted by West Midlands Air Ambulance to use our field as a landing site to pick up a Trauma Team from Russell's Hall. Of course we said yes. This afternoon we received a lovely message and set of photos form Helimed Crew 3.

With reading being such a large part of our students needs, we are always happy when one of our learners graduates from intervention. Jamie B has done this, and shown resilience in learning a skill for life. Well done Jamie!
