Proud to live in Aotearoa and have the chance to attend a small part of today's Hīkoi at Parliament. Toitū te tiriti.

Absolute insanity to me that this US election is even close. People really love voting against their best interests.

Officially muting anything to do with the Euros for my own sanity.

Applied for a UK postal vote and it's only just made it to me in Wellington today. Can't see it making it back in time.

Newshub doing a story about the shortage of kilts in Scotland in the run up to the Euros is the kind of Kiwi/Scotland crossover I've always wanted. More random stories about my homeland, please.

I've always loved Eurovision, but the absolute hypocrisy of booting Russia out and allowing Israel to compete is insane. I don't think I'll be watching this year.

We have our 26 Grand Finalists. And now we have the running order they'll perform in on Saturday night. #Eurovision2024

Has the man ever even met a renter? Pretty sure they don't move in his circles.

Prime Minister Christopher Luxon says renters are "very grateful" the Government is reintroducing interest deductibility for landlords 👇 1news.co.nz/2024/03/13/ren…

And we all know what happened the last time a country had a referendum about something people didn't understand. Depressing that NZ is heading down the path of Brexit Britain.

Dumb question, but when you're drinking in a bar, and you're older, and a banger comes on, how do you not put your hands in the air like you just don't care? Dancing is embarrassing, right?

I've somehow ended up on skincare TikTok and it's honestly super depressing. All for taking care of skin and making yourself feel confident, but it's like no one can have a single laughter line or expression on their face any more.

I've never felt more ashamed to be from the UK. What has it become? It feels like the people being elected to governments all over have become so distant and disconnected from those voting for them.

This is so fucked. Why are we giving this man any more oxygen?

Israel has killed over 10,000 Palestinians in Gaza. Babies who never celebrated a birthday. Child cancer survivors. Children who loved football and surfing. Entire families. These are some of their names and faces.

It's hard not to feel completely helpless witnessing what's going on in Gaza, while reading the mental gymnastics used to justify killing children. There's a reason the Geneva convention was created post ww2, so the same horrific war crimes couldn't be repeated in future.

On average, one child is killed and two children are injured every ten minutes during the war in #Gaza, reports @unrwa Children are #NotATarget.

Carpet-bombing two million Palestinians in the dark. This is "counterterrorism". This is "self-defence". This is "democracy". This is "civilisation". This is what Western powers have shown unconditional support for.

Chris Luxon's new Govt puts New Zealand's celebrated oil and gas exploration ban under threat. Let's make it clear to the oil industry that they are not welcome here and will be resisted! Sign the open letter now to #ResistOil: greenpeace.nz/qawihx via @greenpeacenz

Seriously impressed with how easy it is to vote in New Zealand. Loads of volunteers, early voting, polling places everywhere and main voting day on a Saturday. Bit disappointed with the lack of dogs at my polling place, though
