Hypnotherapy has a long history in medicine. @rodrizzo_pain evaluated the effect of hypnotherapy when added to different interventions on pain intensity. Rod's tweetorial on the review is below. Some interesting findings for a simple, non-invasive intervention.

The problem: Clinical hypnosis is proposed to help people reduce #pain intensity in acute and chronic conditions. What is the effect of receiving clinical #hypnosis in addition to pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions compared to the intervention alone?
