There are some articles in the news today about research that claims autism can be ‘reversed’. This is deeply insulting to the more than 700,000 autistic people in the UK. We are completely baffled why this has even been published by UK papers. This is a case study of a single…

We will challenge stereotypes, stigma and misinformation about autism wherever we see it, so we can create a society that works for autistic people. For accurate information about autism, visit our website autism.org.uk. (4/4)

The show refers to autism as a 'disease' and 'brain problem'. Autism is a lifelong disability, not a disease linked to gut health, and cannot be treated or cured. To suggest otherwise is wrong, deeply irresponsible, and offensive to autistic people and their families. (2/4)

It’s disgraceful that one of the biggest streaming services in the world, with an audience of hundreds of millions of people, has given a platform to a show that casually promotes dodgy and untested science about autism. @netflix should take this down immediately. (1/4)

It's so right, I'm such an empath I can't switch off from World News. I should stay off social media whilst it's all going on, really, because I'm like a sponge. Most creatives are we feel things deeply, which makes us create art. X

Watching wealthy celebrities who live in homes worth over 1 million pounds arguing why strike action is unacceptable must be so frustrating! Be quiet they work harder than any of us and some save actual lives so be silent! You wouldn’t accept 31k a year so why should they?

And now the solicitors you all gave us are the directors on that boy bands company!! Are you all for real??? The accountants and the solicitors are the Directors? Taking that money! 😯

They grew up wanting to be on the stage! They dreamt of it and spent years working on their craft that is commendable! They're not wrong for wanting that! They didn't deserve or earn the right to be abused. We need to change this narrative and protect artists.

Eating disorders and depression are very common in the music industry and it’s cuz nobody cares about the artist’s mental health! only the money!

We know lots of people are worried about when autistic people will get the Covid vaccine. So it’s good to hear @NHSEngland's CEO saying Govt should discuss how some people with a learning disability & who are autistic should be prioritised. We’ll continue raising this with Govt

NHS chief Simon Stevens tells MPs there shd be a "legitimate discussion" with JCVI on giving new vaccine priority after Feb15 to "people with learning disability and autism, certain key public service workers, teachers, the police..." Ie they may not have to wait until April

I would be interested - as I’m sure many customers will be - to understand why @Hoseasons take the view that retrospectively changing agreed terms and conditions is lawful. Today would be perfect.

@RobbieRinder can you help with @Hoseasons refusing to refund. I was told no refund as government cancelled not them. They changed there terms on March to add pandemic. This was not listed before when I booked and paid. Thanks

In our recent Autism Act survey we found out that 75% of autistic people say that unexpected changes, like delays, diversions and cancellations, make them feel socially isolated.
