Weekend Phys done, after 4 full on days and a late, late night on Thursday 01,30hrs! It’s a bit of me time this morning. Exercising allows me time to think and compartmentalise my thoughts. #MentalHealthAdvocate #PTSDWarrior #SaturdayVibes

After another full on week it’s great to have the day at home. Coffee with friends this morning, then lunch with a great mate, then a cuppa and a slice of cake at a garden centre. Off to the tennis club this evening for wine and banter. If carlsberg did Fridays #FridayMotivation

Last night we celebrated Taranto night with our @Fleet_Air_ArmRN 744 Naval Air Squadron friends, fantastic evening. A celebration of British ingenuity and bravery. A blend of history, pride, tradition and high jinx’s as only the Brits do. @RoyalNavy #Taranto #NavyWings

Happy Birthday your Majesty. We’ve meet on a number of occasions, and they’ve always been a blast. Thank you for the memories. GOD SAVE THE KING #KingCharlesIII #birthdaywishes

A new list of the top 10 most appealing – and unappealing – places for Gen Z to work has been released, with all three military services ranking, Coming third, behind McDonald's and KFC, the Royal Marines was closely followed by the Royal Navy in fourth and the Army in fifth.

Today I’m out again early to run my Wellbeing workshop for Senior Leaders. Helping them understand the importance of Mental Health Support in the modern workplace. It’s a secure site but just love this sign on a door in the mess. #MentalHealthAwareness #Military #PTSDWarrior

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!! Too early? I’m already sick of Mariah Carey, all I want for Christmas. I’m guessing Easter Eggs will be in the grocery stores next week! #grumpy #old #man #ChristmasCountdown2024

After a brilliant day in a room full of 1 stars ( if you know, you know) talking about mental health awareness, it’s time to grab dinner before I head home to the forest. Dinning alone as apparently Pugs are more important. I guess she’s right. @chinnychick #PTSDWarrior

An early start in olde London Town. Looking forward to running my mental health awareness workshop. #MentalHealthAwareness #MentalHealthAdvocate #MentalHealthMatters #Tuesdayvibes

This morning I went to pay my respects. Remembering the fallen from all conflicts, we all carry the scars of war, some are visible, most are not. 11.00, 11th Day of the 11th month. #RemembanceDay #Remembrance #WeWillRememberThem #lestweforget2024 #MentalHealthAwareness

I am often challenged about British Military Operations and whether they were worth it? Northern Ireland? Protecting British Citizens. Cyprus? Keeping the peace to prevent people killing each other. Falkland’s? Read from Rachel, that’s why! #RemembanceDay #lestweforget2024

Operation Banner in Northern Ireland was the longest continuous deployment of Armed Forces personnel in British military history, during which over 250,000 military personnel served. 1441 paid the ultimate price. #lestweforget2024 #RemembanceDay

This morning at 11.00, I will be remembering the fallen, ordinary people doing extra ordinary things, driven by duty, pride and justice. I see the faces of my mates, full of life and fun, I see their mutilated, contorted bodies, I feel the guilt every single day #LestWeForget

A busy day dashing around in my little town car. Important to do things that make you happy. Keeping myself occupied really helps me this time of the year. #Saturday Mood #PTSDWarrior

The old Lie: Dulce et decorum est Pro patria mori. “It is sweet and fitting to die for one's country” Lest we forget the 905 fallen from fierce 74 days of The Falkland’s Conflict. #RemembranceDay2024 #LestWeForget #PoppyAppeal #SaturdayVibes

A big thank you to PT, popped into the mess on Wednesday and picked up these magnificent prints painted whilst overseas. #Friday_Motivation #PoppyAppeal #Veteran

Off to Portsmouth to talk about resilience and the importance of #rememberace spending my formative years making harmful stuff harmless, or blowing shit up! Just ordinary people doing extra ordinary things. Seeing things people shouldn’t need to see. #PoppyAppeal2024 #Veteran

Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honor and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy. Winston Churchill It’s going to be a great day.

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue, If all men count with you, but none too much; Fantastic but really long old day delivering a keynote in Newcastle. Looking forward to tomorrow in Catterick. #MentalHealthMatters #KeynoteSpeaker #Resilience #Veteran

Hiding indoors with the curtains closed and watching the TV with the volume up! Bonfire night and the days around it paralyse me with fear. Those random explosions, short bursts of automatic fire take me back to somewhere I don’t want to be. #PTSDWarrior #MentalHealthAwareness
