I’ve also repeated my request in @PrivateEyeNews to find any neonatal expert out there who is prepared to publicly agree with Dewi Evans’ definitive diagnoses of methods of murder, excluding all other courses of death. I have asked Sandie Bohin, his backup expert at the trial,…

In today’s @PrivateEyeNews I write about how Lord Darzi has changed his tune on the Lansley reforms, how inquiries into health disasters have become the U.K.’s biggest growth industry (even though the recommendations are usually ignored), what Thirlwall has revealed about her own…

This Tortoise podcast is a very fair, balanced and thorough analysis of the debate about the Lucy Letby trial. It is very noticeable that Dr Dewi Evans was convinced that deliberate harm had occurred within 10 minutes of seeing the notes of a child with liver injury, whereas a…

Expert witnesses have become critical to criminal cases where hard evidence is in short supply – like the trial of Lucy Letby. In this week’s Slow Newscast, we interrogate the question: how is a jury supposed to know who to believe? Listen: lnk.to/LetbySNCTT

An excellent intervention, on the absurd cost of court trahscripts, made by .@daviddavismp, and helpfully answered by Mr Speaker.

I asked the House of Commons why we had to pay huge sums of money to view court transcripts. As it stands, we have to pay thousands and thousands of pounds to access these transcripts.

I've just asked my MP to speak up on baby loss in parliament. It’s quick & easy to send an almost pre-written letter to your MP here: act.sands.org.uk/ask-your-mp-sp… It’s vital we all work to both improve perinatal outcomes & then bereavement care when needed. Still inconsistencies!

I’m in tears at this. A Holocaust survivor, the daughter of a holocaust survivor, the granddaughter of a holocaust survivor stand together against the genocide in Gaza. Let love not hate dominate. #CeasefireNow

Absolutely not. Harmed & affected families: their views & needs MUST be central to the foundations of any review into their care & treatment. Families MUST trust the review too. Any ‘review’ without this is no review at all. Ask @jackhawkski or any of the other Notts families
