Dr. V. H. Lewis (1912–2000) was the seventeenth General Superintendent of the Church of the Nazarene. He was elected at the fifteenth General Assembly in Kansas City, Missouri, USA in 1960. He served as a general superintendent until his retirement in 1985.

The Twentieth General Assembly of the Church of the Nazarene was held in Kansas City in 1980. It will return to Kansas City for the first time since then for the Thirty-First General Assembly and Conventions in 2027. #NazareneArchives #NazareneHistory
