On October 19th, MOPD was honored to participate in the street naming ceremony for Edith Prentiss, a tireless and renowned disability rights advocate in NYC. Her relentless dedication to accessibility and inclusion continues to guide our work.

Last Sunday, MOPD proudly marched in the 2024 Disability Pride Parade, celebrating inclusivity and equity for people with disabilities in New York City and beyond. Commissioner Curry energized the crowd, reminding everyone that there should be "nothing about us, without us!"
