The timeline really drives home how corrupt this request was. The GA votes had been tallied three times, including a hand recount ordered Nov. 11 at Trump’s demand, completed a week later. GA had recertified the results in early December, & investigated myriad bogus fraud claims.
The votes in GA had been recounted and manually recounted. The legislature had certified the results. The electoral votes had been cast. And Trump didn't just ask for a recount. He asked Raffensperger to say he had "recalculated," and to just get rid of a bunch of Biden votes.
