🎶 Ring around the Roman @NASARoman’s Outer Barrel Assembly (OBA) just took a spin — a few actually — on Goddard’s centrifuge. The OBA will keep Roman’s temperature stable & shield it from stray light. It’s so large that it had to be tested in pieces. go.nasa.gov/4f6CUli

Sit back, relax, and watch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope's Outer Barrel Assembly undergo centrifuge testing at @NASAGoddard Learn more about the test: go.nasa.gov/3Y6WnLU

🎶 You spin me right round, baby right round. 🎶 The centrifuge spins at extreme speeds to simulate launch and space conditions. Learn more about the importance of this test for Roman's Outer Barrel Assembly: go.nasa.gov/4ewYXlh 📸 NASA/ Chris Gunn
