After a decade in the food industry, I am finally building my own restaurant. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to create and what would feel true to me and to my audience. I am excited and eager to take you all on this journey with me. Fired&Iced is coming! 🔥❄️

I’m so proud of how I handled this year. I fought so many silent battles. I had to humble myself wipe my own tears and give myself grace because life is not a race.

Reading to kids doesn't just benefit them. It's good for parents too. Evidence: Reading regularly to children improves parenting skills, reduces stress, and builds lasting bonds. In a distracted world, sitting together with a book is a rare occasion for undivided attention.

There is no universe where it is okay to be violent towards your partner.

This kid is smarter than I give him credit for. Omo mi DemDem.

Demi is mostly awake all night, now he crawls into the sitting room and kitchen when I sleep off. In the dark 🤦‍♀️

God is Good.

I love the papery smell of new books 😍

Her experience debunks EVERY excuse predatory men, who know they can escape personal responsibility because everyone & everything else will be blamed, rely on. She exposed the truth we've always known- a rapist rapes because they CHOOSE to. Not because of anything the victim did

I'd like to bring something that it's crucial about Gisele Pelicot's case: she is the so called "perfect victim" that men can't dismiss anymore. I'll explain: men can't say "she was wearing this/that", "she provoked them", "she put herself in this situation," "she wanted it." 1/

Sigh. It's hard watching your baby unable to do what other kids are doing. The struggle is real.

Dad probably cries more at night than his son will ever know... good dad

Up and Grateful.

Once this trial is over, Gisele Pelicot should receive every honour in France and the International Women’s award. What she says about shame shouldn’t need saying but she’s used her darkest hours and a global spotlight to do so. She’s extraordinary. bbc.com/news/articles/…
