1/7 @DRSKenya @burugu_j I have some thoughts on this - am struggling to find the specific "international refugee law" and section of Kenya law that directs refugees and asylum seekers to surrender country of origin passport to Government department in country of asylum

Thrilled to explore the rich tapestry of African history and heritage once again at the Kenya National Museum! Each visit deepens my appreciation for our culture, stories, and resilience. Can't wait to dive into more hidden gems and timeless treasures. #AfricanHistory #Heritage

2/2 This directive is in line with international refugee laws and the Refugee Act of 2021. All refugees are required to surrender their country of origin passports within 30 days. Failure to comply may result in legal consequences.

Visited the Archaeology Museum at the University of Ghana. Fascinating to see the East Turkana Homo erectus exhibit. Inspired to learn more about the Turkana Boy!
