What a way to close the week! 🎉 In Kakuma, where refugees live on <$2/day, opportunities for girls are scarce. SIR is providing digital skills, mentorship, & job linkages to give them a fighting chance. This week, they earned an average of 1,800Ksh/day—empowerment in action!

Great initiative! It would be impactful to include local organizations like SIR & others, who are driving refugee digital inclusion at the grassroots level in places like #Kakuma. Their insights can further enhance strategies to bridge digital gaps in underserved communities.

Community of Practice (CoP) promoting Kenyan digital economy held a consensus building workshop this week.👬🇰🇪 In its' 5th gathering, the multi stakeholder group reviewed and prioritized actions to close policy gaps which could boost digital economy.
