Each day before the U.S. House of Representatives convenes, we recite the Pledge of Allegiance. Today, I was proud to lead my colleagues in the pledge. 🇺🇸

Our bipartisan budget agreement will reduce the deficit by more than $1 trillion over the next 10 years. That's on top of the record $1.7 trillion in deficit reduction I achieved during my first two years in office.
I spent this afternoon and evening knocking doors in rural, northern Haymarket along U.S. 15 and the area b/w Logmill and Sudley Roads. I know this area well from being a reporter who covered that turf for 9+ years from 2006-2015 and as a newspaper delivery driver there in 2005.
The highlight of my day was getting to meet @pwcdanica at Culpeper Pride. I was completely starstruck. All I remember is when my jaw dropped, I jumped out of my seat, and unabashedly fangirled out at the first aid tent! It was an honor! 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🥲
