We will be in London tomorrow, to express our frustration at the promises being broken about farming, food and the environment… broken promises that will make our country worse for everyone It’s about way more than IHT It’s about what kind of countryside we want and need…

A quick walk before the light went along the River Test, Hampshire, and I saw a scarlet ibis Eudocimus ruber flying to roost with a group of little egrets. I couldn't believe my eyes! @PortlandBirdObs @_BTO @HOSbirding @NorrissTim @HantsIWWildlife Anyone else seen one in Hants?

Have you found any harvest mice nests yet this year? Here's one so you can get your eye in! We have breeding harvest mice across all the three #FarmerClusters which make up the Supercluster. Generally found on beetle banks, margins and hedges

Devil’s fingers fungus, an alien in description but also a non native from Australia & New Zealand. Thought to have arrived in Europe with war supplies in the 1900s, it can reliably be found in hotspots in New Forest where military bases were established in 1940s @NewForestNPA

Happy #AutumnEquinox! On this day, day and night are nearly equal in length. The name equinox is derived from the Latin words "aequus" (equal) and "nox" (night)

#ISS just did a flyby over the house, like a huge shooting star. Because of its size (110m x 100m x 30m), it reflects a large amount of sunlight. Going west to East, max speed 28,000km/h!
