Students watching a video about cognitive load theory scored higher on delayed tests of factual recall and comprehension if they had to generate a relevant example while retrieving knowledge, or rewatching the video: bit.ly/4fTqtd8 ($)

The power of legacy… wise words. We extend our sincere best wishes to the President of NSWPPA, in her next steps. There was not a dry eye as Robyn, with grace and dignity was humbled by her colleagues. What a legend! @nswppa @NSWEducation @dizdarm @pruecar

So very true Judy, we just keep going

Women are exhausted fighting same battles over & over again, abortion back on agenda in Qld election, seemingly no real answers to preventing family violence, child care far too expensive for low income families, emotional & physical exhaustion but we are ever resilient & capable

Public schools were underfunded by $4.5 billion in 2023, and Labor's bill locks in underfunding for another decade. Yet they're giving $51m a day to fee-charging private schools! Tell Labor what you think by making a submission to the inquiry into the bill. Link in the replies.

Magic start to the day. Two staff members on pat & mat leave visited with their babies. Both seemed to enjoy “Da Glump went the Little Green Frog” or at least did not cry!
