Just got cold called by a LinkedIn marketing company who promised to change my world. When I asked the chap why he didn’t market his services to me via LinkedIn in, he couldn’t find an answer. His number is now blocked 🚫

The government's spending watchdog has warned that thousands of buildings are still covered in dangerous cladding and may never be identified. Jennifer Frame, a campaigner from @EOCS_Official speaks to @SkySarahJane ⬇️ trib.al/zJ13ZzA

I was hoping that the Building Safety Regulator @H_S_E chief would be a vocal advocate for Building Safety. Instead we seem to have got an anonymous man in a suit who very few could even name. @AngelaRayner new approach urgently needed.

Very poor @AngelaRayner 👇

Residents who escaped the Dagenham fire have told Sky News they feel abandoned after both the management firm and owner of the building have failed to meet them. 🔗 Read more trib.al/16hXAWC

“She did not qualify for assistance to remove that cladding, and that basically rendered her property unsellable, and that caused her a great amount of stress and anxiety." #RIP Amanda ⁦⁩ 💚 ⁦@mhclg⁩ ⁦@AngelaRayner⁩ pls wake up! mylondon.news/news/south-lon…

Received this email yesterday. Thank goodness I have not contributed one penny piece to ⁦@michaelgove⁩ salary.

Nearly 4 years after we asked @mhclg to collect key data from residents impacted by the #BuildingSafetyCrisis - today they launched a survey that covers some of this. Progress of sorts? consult.communities.gov.uk/residents-voic…

#FOI number 2 submitted to @mhclg this time to ask about whether they are collecting key data on the Financial, Health & Housing impacts of the #BuildingSafety Crisis @garyportercbe @LGAcomms

I have just been sent this video from @SavePortQuinBay who materialised out of nowhere this time last week and began throwing bananas and water at me, and it is an excellent excuse to remind you all that my @RefugeeAction fundraising page is still live... Link in bio!

Homeless families across England are living in disused office blocks being used by councils who have run out of alternative housing. Around 10,000 such flats are thought to be of such poor condition they could never be sold. Investigation in @thetimes thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

I wish id kept a spreadsheet of how much money has been made so far from the start until now, waking watch, new fire alarm, surveys, property management, facade teams, government, solicitors and yet still no remediation.

There are times @AngelaRayner where I ask myself ‘what is the point?’ and today is one of them. The @H_S_E have repeatedly and demonstrably FAILED to discharge their duties effectively. What is the Government going to do? Special measures needed urgently. Lives at risk

The @H_S_E sponsored Building Safety Regulator are plumbing new depths of technical incompetence. Today they have issued guidance to industry to submit evidential quarterly and annual data returns to them via emailed spreadsheets. Welcome to 2004! @AngelaRayner @rushanaraali

Seven years after the Grenfell tragedy, new data reveals HALF of the buildings with dangerous cladding are still unsafe. @C4Ciaran explains.

Matt Hodges-Long Reposted

Every month, the Government publishes data on how many high-rise buildings still have "life-critical" fire safety defects since Grenfell. 🚨 Work to remove deadly cladding still hasn't started on more than half of all residential buildings identified news.sky.com/story/work-to-…

A definition of ‘fix’ would be helpful @rushanaraali do you mean fixed as in get on with life or fix as in partial remediation leaving you stuck with crippling insurance costs and unmortgageable.

Today’s statistics again show the remediation of unsafe buildings is just too slow. I'm clear the full force of government will be used to ensure building owners get on with the job and fix homes. Further plans to speed up the pace of remediation will be announced in the autumn.…

Just bumped into a sweaty and at times incoherent @mrhenrymorris in Runnymede. We discussed the Magna Carta and chatted to some local Tories that weren’t right keen on his new book.
