Absolutely. Lp(a) levels are over 90% heritable, so the chance of finding a family member also with elevated levels is high. Remember: Lp(a) is actionable right now!
Yes! But important to note that distribution of Lp(a) levels varies in different groups. A higher proportion of Black and South Asian groups have elevated Lp(a) compared to Caucasians. #measureLpa
