Focus on fluorine. Nutty element and got great beat.

There has been a...suggestion that I do video readings of my chemistry-related answers on Quora, perhaps as Beat poetry or over smooth jazz. Answers like: quora.com/Which-family-o… quora.com/How-do-you-ext… What say you?

Great article. Bit of a beast but worth reading. Fascinating history of NATO.

This tweet insinuates that these people are on the side of white supremacy. Appalling take, especially from an MP.

Well balanced article by @zoesqwilliams As boozer regular I would say myself and rest are pretty good at drinking in safe way. If need to shit down pubs to keep kids in schools I doubt you would get any complaints from regulars. But want good reasons. theguardian.com/world/2020/sep…

NEW with @AndyBounds, @sarahnev & @Laura_K_Hughes: The UK government’s published numbers of new cases at local authority level only include pillar 1 and *not* pillar 2 cases, meaning as many as 90% of new cases are missing from the data ft.com/content/301c84… Thread:

The rest of the public, whether it’s school governors, local business owners or journalists writing about the presence or absence of new outbreaks, are being fed data that is ultimately garbage, and the people publishing that data know it. fin.

MarkHewis Reposted

Full pillar 1+2 data is being shared w/ local public health bodies, so some health officials know what’s going on in different bits of the country, but this data is not shared with local councils, mayors, MPs, who’ve had to ask for it & wait weeks. Useless in fast-moving pandemic

Before considering travelling to #Cumbria #LakeDistrict please grab a brew☕️, examine this map, and take a long hard look at your own conscience. We urge you to use common sense and to continue to exercise close to your own home. We need to break the cycle of infection #lockdown

Hi Mark, you can discuss with your bank if you plan to cancel your direct debit. However, if you’re planning to do this because you have worries about your finances please visit our webpage first where we’re offering support: ow.ly/dKXc30qu8KW. 1/2

#Latitude2020 @LatitudeFest still awaiting an answer. Most festivals now been cancelled - even on same weekend - are you really going ahead? What are your detailed safety plans no info on site? Why are you still selling tickets?

That is my thinking too. Have a washable one with pretty little flower design.

At the grocery. Wearing my mask. Lady behind me, snarky & loud enough to make sure I heard, “don’t guess she realizes that stupid mask won’t do any good.” Me: “Honey, I’m an off duty nurse, I’m wearing it to protect YOU. But, I can take it off if you’d like.” She practically ran.
