A Russian court convicted Brittney Griner on drug smuggling charges & sentenced her to 9.5 years in a penal colony. This absolutely breaks my heart. Even though everyone knows this whole affair is a farce & that she’s a political pawn, NO ONE SHOULD BE IMPRISONED FOR DRUGS.
