Thai lady at work yesterday referred to Khon India Daeng. I knew she was using the term wrong so I asked her what she meant. She said it’s a person from India (kaeg) but with red skin 🤣. I think many Thais remain unaware of the real world outside the kingdom
Better than gold. Based on my own experience with the in-laws for decades now, I know I would be a multi-millionaire if I could buy American vitamins back home in bulk and sell them in Thailand without all those silly import/export fees.
Expat problems. I often buy my mom a new printer back home because she gets so frustrated with hers and I’m not around to fix it. Also, she has a need to print every important email she gets 🙄 and then deletes the emails which is super helpful when we can’t find the print outs

Just saw a friend in the US who’s never been to Thailand sharing photos of a Thai dinner him and his wife cooked. I told them I’m better than them, and that I eat Thai food every day, and their food probably doesn’t even taste like real Thai food.
