yeah breakups hurt, but have you ever been a super talkative, enthusiastic person but slowly over the years and after trauma you watch yourself become more quieter and quieter to the point where that enthusiastic bubbly person just isn't who you are anymore?
Most men don't RUN from an amazing woman, they run from the parts of themselves they're unwilling to change to be WORTHY of her. That's immature behavior. A true man will do whatever it takes to be with the woman he loves, without making excuses.
there's nothing more embarrassing than looking back at a relationship with someone and seeing all the ways you settled. all the times you begged for attention, a text back, a phone call, a date, reassurance. all of those things should be a given

Having family in close proximity is such a blessing. Never take that for granted. Life can get extremely lonely.
i love the phenomenon that occurs when you can’t see what’s wrong when you’re in the situation but once you’re out of it you see everything it’s like you have life dysmorphia blinded by patterns and habits — not realizing someone or something is sucking the life out of you
