Sadly this morning our community was the scene of an incident involving a gun. The SWAT operation in @NorthWalesBoro has ended. LPD is investigating. No arrests yet. This incident was not a random act but a targeted event by fueled by the easy access of guns by criminals.
LPD- is working the shooting incident in the unit of East Third Street, in Lansdale this morning , as a separate and unrelated matter from the prior shootings. Investigation is still in the preliminary phase follow @PoliceLansdale for accurate and timely updates.

The first on the scene of the #Boulder shooting, Officer Eric Talley is a hero who sacrificed it all. He rushed into the gunfire putting the safety of others ahead of his own. His life was one of significance — one we will #NeverForget. My prayers are with his wife & 7 children.
