Today in church, the speaker was talking about gratitude and said something to the effect of: “we can’t just be grateful for the rainbows in our life… we need to learn to appreciate the rain.” Really resonated with me today, especially with my sour attitude after weeks of joy.

I think what is frustrating about the game yesterday is that, unlike in some previous years, the offense looks good. We had long, sustained drives. Good balance of run and pass. We seriously need to take this week to figure out why we can’t turn that production into scores.
I love BYU football. I love BYU basketball. I love all things BYU. We could go 1–11 and I would still love BYU. It’s why losses last night hurt so much. But also why I will continue to support and be super excited about everything potentially ahead of us. Onward and upward!
It’s been nothing but elation and pure joy the last ten weeks. Tonight I just feel sick. The pros and cons of being such a big fan. Love my cougs though. We are going to beat those Sun Devils and earn a spot in the CCG. Still so much to play for and I believe in our team. 💔
