In week 15 of @B329Leadership I've learnt about the difficulties the relationships between leaders and followers encounter when it comes to power and resistance, which seems fitting with all the current strike action that is taking place is various sectors #OUB329

In week 14 of @B329Leadership i found learning more about the 3 types of challenges very interesting, It got me thinking about how many 'wicked' challenges i believe to be happening within society at this moment in time and how certain leaders are dealing with them #OUB329

In week 12 of @B329Leadership I learnt that positive sum outcomes when it comes to collaborative leadership can seem simple in theory, but when it comes to the practicality it can prove to be a lot more difficult than expected #OUB329

Week 11 of @B329Leadership showed the positives that can come from conflict when it comes to leadership, that it can be beneficial to address and deal with issues in the corrective manner when there is difference of opinion between leaders and followers #OUB329

Week 10 of @B329Leadership provide insight into the difficulties but also positives that can be gained through collaborative leadership, it also demonstrated how follows can have a major impact on the someone's leadership when not fully on board #OUB329

In week 9 of @B329Leadership I found the various definitions for collaboration interesting. I particularly Huxam & Vangens 'Collaborative Thuggery' interesting, initially having a negative perspective but gradually beginning to see the positive aspects #OUB329

I found it insightful in week 8 of @B329Leadership when analyzing our own leadership styles, when actually writing down in front yourself about yourself as a leader how self-critical you can be #OUB329

In week 8 of @B329Leadership I found it interesting the positives that can be achieved when tackling diversity in organisations and the power of inclusiveness. Also, dependent on the situation, the ability to change and adapt leadership styles to combat these issues #OUB329

In week 7 of @B329Leadership i enjoyed looking deeper into my identity as a leader. I picked up a lot of areas were i need to improve and some maybe i am good at which i was a little harsh on myself. Found the thought of multiple identities in leadership to be interesting #OUB329

In week 5 of @B329Leadership I've conducted my interview and hopefully I've gathered all the information necessary to complete my TMA blog post. Now time to start my blog!

In week 4 of @B329Leadership I've learnt the effects and influence a culture can have on someone's style of leadership, and how leaders have had to adapt to different cultures to get the most from the followers of that culture #OUB329

Week 3 of @B329Leadership showed me that in precarious times people will naturally feel an uncertainty, spurring people on to want change, this can therefore provide an opportunity for populist movements #OUB329

In week 3 of @B329Leadership I've learnt more in depth into populist movements and how their leaders believe they are representing the people in the battle against the 'elite'. The leader of the populist movement will try to use divisive tactics to spur on change #OUB329

Leadership decisions from far afield can affect many not directly linked with the leader in question @B329Leadership

In week 2 of @B329Leadership I've learnt precarity within our lives is becoming a more common theme. We seem to be moving into more precarious times due to things out of our control, for example the rise is energy costs, the war in Ukraine, covid and Brexit to name a few #OUB329

My learnings in week 1 of @B329Leadership have taught me to look at the bigger picture when it comes when it comes to leadership and what the leader may be dealing with further afield that may affect their leadership closer to home #OUB329

In week 1 of @B329Leadership I learnt that there are always going to be bumps in the road when it comes to leadership and the importance to adapt to these situations by maybe using a different combination of leadership styles #OUB329
