It’s insane to me that homeschooling is an accepted practice in this country. Real teachers have to go through years of training and state certification but an Evangelical mom with a BA in marketing who “isn’t sure about the Holocaust” can be like “No I should be the teacher.”
When I was in 2nd grade my mom had an appointment set to get me tested for ADHD/ADD and I remember waking up the day of and her saying “we aren’t going” and then I got diagnosed with ADHD at 23 and now everything makes sense
