Great to hear @HadleysComment and @ShoesmithKate from our fantastic @RECPress team talking rising starting salaries and #jobs on the BBC this morning. #reportonjobs reveals that candidate shortage is still a major concern.

Delighted to see another REC member #bantheboxuk. @Prestige_Job & @Carbon60global are leading the way on #inclusiverecruitment. @RECPress guidance on recruitment of people with #criminalrecords has gone to print. Looking forward to the launch.

Fantastic to see @Prestige_Job join @Carbon60global as one of the first recruiters to #bantheboxuk. Thanks @RECPress and @DomHeadley for your support!

Key message from BoE #InflationReport is that labour market continues to tighten, with little slack left, and more widespread pay rises expected over the coming years - highlighting @RECPress data that shows starting salaries increasing at a sharp rate.

Very useful guide on evidence based approaches to closing the #genderpaygap. Some surprising findings, well worth a read.

Highly recommended read on current state of play. It won’t cheer you up, but it is excellent insight. In my view @tconnellyRTE is one of the best Brexit commentators around. Well informed, detailed, cogent and accessible, especially - not surprisingly - on the Irish implications.

Interesting survey on how employers plan to deal with increasing skills shortages. It's important govt considers this in context of #IR35 consultation and the damage that poorly designed and rushed reforms could have on our flexible labour market.

Skills shortages are at near record levels, and our survey with @IndeedUK reveals that the most likely approach firms will take to address gaps are to use self-employed workers, invest in recruitment and training, and work with local schools bit.ly/2O1gmXd
